Job summary

Your Health Organization seeks a Delivery Medical Associate to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patients’ residences in the [LOCATION] area. This full-time Driver role requires reliable transportation and adherence to safety and customer service standards.

The position covers homes and facilities, with work hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, and travel between offices and care sites. Prior delivery experience is a plus, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience delivering medical equipment is a plus; ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Team player capable of multi-tasking and sound judgment.
• Able to work flexible hours and travel between offices and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport Durable Medical Equipment.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Load and unload equipment onto and from the delivery vehicle.
• Secure equipment to prevent damage during transport.
• Verify and document equipment condition upon delivery and return.
• Install and set up equipment at facilities and patient residences.
• Ensure proper functioning and placement of installed equipment.
• Provide basic instructions to clients on initial use of installed equipment.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes for timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with dispatch for delivery schedules and updates.
• Instruct clients on care of delivered equipment.
• Address customer inquiries professionally.
• Maintain records of deliveries including signatures and times.
