Job summary

Great River Health Systems is seeking a delivery driver to support operations across Iowa. The role involves delivering designated supplies and prescriptions, maintaining vehicle readiness, and reporting any issues to the Supervisor.

You will read maps, follow directions, and ensure accurate inventory contents. The position requires 1–3 years in customer service, a valid driver's license at hire, and a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
1-3 years experience working in customer service.
Required Driver's License Upon Hire.
Required H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred.

Responsibilities

Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
Verify the contents of inventory.
Discuss any feedback received from deliveries with Supervisor.
Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to Supervisor, using cellular telephone.
Regular and reliable attendance.
