Qualifications

• CDL-B required with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluids, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Operate controls to lift and load refuse, use the compactor, and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues to ensure timely and professional service.
• Maintain productivity and safety standards by completing route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
