Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate caregivers in Philadelphia to provide companionship, personal care, and support to clients living at home.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, meals, mobility, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and following care plans. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; vaccination proof is mandatory. The role offers flexible schedules, full-time or part-time positions, and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• CNA/HHA/PCA or home-care experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.
• TB test or willingness to complete testing.

• Provide companionship and monitor client well-being.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal care.
• Support walking and daily activities, including meals.
• Provide medication reminders and manage light housekeeping.
• Follow the client care plan and update the office as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Spend time with clients and keep them company
• Help with bathing, dressing, and personal care
• Support clients with walking and daily activities
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Assist with errands when needed
• Follow the client’s care plan
• Keep the office or family updated on any changes
• Most importantly, make clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle and Reliable transportation
• Recent TB test or willingness to complete the required testing
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate
• Someone who treats clients with kindness and respect
