Job summary

Visiting Angels Greater Philadelphia is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide companionship, personal care, and practical support to clients in the Philadelphia area.

You will follow each client’s care plan, assist with daily activities, help with bathing and meals, and promote safety and comfort in the home. We offer flexible full-time and part-time shifts and opportunities for growth.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle and transportation.
• Recent TB test or willingness to complete required testing.
• Reliable, patient and compassionate.
• Someone who treats clients with kindness and respect.

Responsibilities

• Spend time with clients and keep them company.
• Help with bathing, dressing, and personal care.
• Support clients with walking and daily activities.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands when needed.
• Follow the client’s care plan.
• Keep the office or family updated on any changes.
• Most importantly, make clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
