Job summary

Constellium in Ravenswood, WV seeks a Reliability Planner to optimize planning processes, supply proper materials, tools, and documentation to safely complete planned work. You will develop work packages, ensure parts and drawings are available, and coordinate with maintenance crews to deliver ready-to-schedule plans.

You'll maintain BOMs in CMMS, track spares, and perform regular reviews to remove obsolete parts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field preferred.
• 5-8 years of planning experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Experience with electrical / mechanical machine repair required.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility required.
• Demonstrated competency in estimating labor and costs required.
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment that includes crafts, supervisors, engineers, and management required.
• Demonstrated proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop work packages and create job kits to enable craftsmen to perform quality planned jobs without delay.
• Ensure required parts, equipment, special tools, labor, permits, and drawings are available for each Job Plan.
• Work with area maintenance crews to deliver planned job packages to perform tasks without delay.
• Review craft feedback on completed Job Plans to improve quality in the planners’ library.
• Maintain 2-4 week ready to schedule backlog aligned with production needs.
• Maintain accurate BOMs within the CMMS for efficient identification of spare parts.
• Verify completed job packet for content accuracy and monitor kit status with daily management.
• Coordinate with storeroom personnel and procurement to ensure parts lists are complete on time.
• Track spares, including rebuilt items, to ensure proper stock.
• Review for obsolete parts and work with central Storeroom to keep stock valid.

Job Summary: The Reliability Planner is responsible for all aspects of the planning process with the goal of improving workforce productivity and work quality by eliminating potential delays and obstacles. This is achieved by supplying the proper materials, tools, equipment, documentation, and procedures to safely complete planned work.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing work packages and creating job kits to enable the Department craftsmen to perform quality planned jobs without delay.
• Ensure required parts, equipment, special tools, labor, permits, and drawings are available for each Job Plan.
• Work with area maintenance crews to achieve the physical assembly and delivery of planned job packages to perform job tasks without delay.
• Review craft feedback on completed Job Plans in order to continuously improve the quality of the job plans in the planners’ library.
• Maintain 2-4 week ready to schedule back log that is in alignment with production needs for areas of responsibility in order to maintain adequate planned work to schedule.
• Maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM's) within the CMMS in order to allow for efficient identification of asset spare parts.
• Verify completed job packet for content accuracy. Use of daily management for kit status and tracking. Own the job kitting area and ensure 6S compliance.
• Coordinate with storeroom personnel and procurement to ensure parts list is complete within the required time line.
• Use of daily management to track status of spares, including those being rebuilt to insure proper stock.
• Perform regular reviews to identify obsolete parts. Work with central Storeroom to remove parts no longer needed to keep stored stock valid and up to date.
