Job summary

Constellium Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Reliability Planner to manage planning processes and ensure timely delivery of work packages, parts, and BOMs to support skilled craftsmen.

The role collaborates with maintenance, storeroom, and procurement to maintain backlog and 6S compliance, leveraging CMMS and SAP experience to optimize reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field preferred.
• 5-8 years of planning experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Experience with electrical / mechanical machine repair required.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility required.
• Demonstrated competency in estimating labor and costs required.
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment with crafts, supervisors, engineers and management required.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop work packages and create job kits to enable craftsmen to perform quality planned jobs without delay.
• Ensure required parts, equipment, special tools, labor, permits, and drawings are available for each Job Plan.
• Work with area maintenance crews to deliver planned job packages without delay.
• Review craft feedback to improve job plans in the planners’ library.
• Maintain 2-4 week backlog aligned with production needs for responsible areas.
• Maintain accurate BOMs within the CMMS for efficient spare parts identification.
• Verify completed job packets for content accuracy and manage kit status/6S compliance.
• Coordinate with storeroom personnel and procurement to ensure complete parts lists on time.
• Track status of spares, including rebuilt ones, to maintain stock.
• Identify obsolete parts and coordinate removal with central Storeroom.

Job Summary: The Reliability Planner is responsible for all aspects of the planning process with the goal of improving workforce productivity and work quality by eliminating potential delays and obstacles. This is achieved by supplying the proper materials, tools, equipment, documentation, and procedures to safely complete planned work.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing work packages and creating job kits to enable the Department craftsmen to perform quality planned jobs without delay.
• Ensure required parts, equipment, special tools, labor, permits, and drawings are available for each Job Plan.
• Work with area maintenance crews to achieve the physical assembly and delivery of planned job packages to perform job tasks without delay.
• Review craft feedback on completed Job Plans in order to continuously improve the quality of the job plans in the planners’ library.
• Maintain 2-4 week ready to schedule back log that is in alignment with production needs for areas of responsibility in order to maintain adequate planned work to schedule.
• Maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM’s) within the CMMS in order to allow for efficient identification of asset spare parts.
• Verify completed job packet for content accuracy. Use of daily management for kit status and tracking. Own the job kitting area and ensure 6S compliance.
• Coordinate with storeroom personnel and procurement to ensure parts list is complete within the required time line.
• Use of daily management to track status of spares, including those being rebuilt to insure proper stock.
• Perform regular reviews to identify obsolete parts. Work with central Storeroom to remove parts no longer needed to keep stored stock valid and up to date.
