onsemi East Fishkill is seeking a Reliability Testing & Failure Analysis Intern to support reliability engineering for semiconductor products. You will gain hands-on experience in testing, data analysis, and failure isolation while collaborating with test and reliability teams.

The internship offers exposure to advanced reliability methodologies, project involvement with cross-functional engineers, and potential pathways to full-time roles within a global semiconductor company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Coursework in semiconductor devices or microelectronics is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute standard reliability tests using reliability test equipment.
• Collaborate with test and reliability teams to establish methodologies.
• Perform hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of setups.
• Analyze reliability data from look-ahead silicon and product development.
• Support failure analysis, device characterization, and imaging techniques.
• Document procedures, results, and findings for qualification efforts.
• Present updates to engineering teams at internship end.
