onsemi at East Fishkill, NY is offering a Reliability Testing & Failure Analysis internship. You will support reliability engineering activities for semiconductor products and gain hands-on experience with testing and silicon characterization alongside experienced engineers.

This internship provides exposure to advanced reliability methodologies, collaboration across test and reliability teams, and pathways toward full-time roles upon graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Academic coursework in semiconductor devices, microelectronics, electronics, or related technical subjects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute standard reliability tests using reliability test equipment.
• Collaborate with test engineering and reliability engineering teams to establish, optimize, and document reliability test methodologies.
• Perform hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of reliability test setups and processes.
• Collect, analyze, and report reliability data from look-ahead silicon and product development activities.
• Support failure analysis activities, including device characterization, failure isolation, and imaging techniques.
• Present project updates and findings to engineering teams at the conclusion of the internship.
