Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America is seeking a Test and Reliability Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Columbus, IN. This hands-on role offers exposure to testing, product development, and mentorship from experienced professionals.

You will perform project validation, do truck and component testing, collaborate across design, reliability and testing teams, and participate in an automation project that teaches hardware and software testing and integration.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Academic year: Junior or above.
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Available for onsite assignment in our Columbus, IN location from May to August.

Responsibilities

• Support project validation work, where planning, executing, analyzing, and reporting are expected.
• Hands-on truck level testing and component level testing.
• Collaborate with design, analysis, reliability, and testing.
• Will work on an automation project to learn project management, hardware testing, software testing, and integration.
