Job summary

Novaspect, Inc. is seeking a Reliability Specialist to join a fast-paced, customer-oriented team. You will apply predictive technologies to support reliability service contracts and provide concise analysis and repairs prioritization.

The role involves setup on vibration routes, data acquisition, rotating equipment balancing, and laser alignment, with travel to customer sites and Novaspect offices. CAT II Vibration Analysis certification is required; experience with predictive tech and asset

Qualifications

  • CAT II Vibration Analysis Certification or equivalent required.
  • Experience with multiple predictive technologies preferred.
  • Experience with Asset Management/Reliability programs and associated software & service programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of machinery fundamentals, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, compressors, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

  • Providing analysis and concise reports on recommendations for repairs and urgency for problems identified.
  • Developing and maintain working knowledge of routine and advanced data acquisition techniques, such as spectral, time waveform, and PeakVue analysis.
  • Providing setup on vibration routes for routine monitoring on diverse plant equipment and provide database maintenance on a regular and consistent basis.
  • Developing and maintain advanced knowledge and experience in balancing rotating equipment and laser alignment on complex machine trains.
  • Planning, scheduling and managing travel, appointments, and activities independently.
  • Responding to customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Making difficult decisions independently in ambiguous situations.
  • Providing training to reliability technicians.
  • Traveling to customer sites throughout Novaspect's territory, Novaspect branch offices, and other locations as required.
