Novaspect, Inc. is currently offering an opportunity for a full‑time Maintenance Reliability Technician to join our dynamic, customer‑oriented team. The role is embedded at a customer site in Combined Locks, WI.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain industry and mechanical knowledge, including rotating machinery, fixed assets, electrical assets, instrumentation and controls.
- Establish and grow business relationships with the customer.
- Gain a general understanding of the customer’s business, including their products and processes, markets served, and events that influence the customer’s profits.
- Act as a hands‑on support role for the Novaspect Reliability Specialist.
- Provide short‑notice call‑out service for emergency machinery balancing and precision alignments.
- Set up wireless vibration sensors with Hart Field Communicator.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with customers, Novaspect Lead Reliability Specialist, and all internal team members.
- Deliver uncompromised quality services to the customer.
- Travel to customer sites throughout Novaspect’s territory, branch offices, and other locations as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; technical degree or certification in instrumentation, electrical, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with basic vibration analysis capabilities and other predictive technologies preferred.
- Experience with reliability and basic knowledge of the Emerson/Emerson Process Management offering preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and industrial systems, including rotating equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation environments.
- Exposure to process instrumentation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings preferred.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to grasp and manipulate small objects/tools.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Ability to work at heights, stoop, crawl, and crouch when working on equipment.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand on feet for 8 hours per day.
- Ability to work in a loud industrial environment.
- Comfortable working around industrial equipment with exposed moving parts.
- Ability to climb stairs carrying up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to climb a 20 ft. ladder with equipment.
- Ability to drive an average of 3–4 hours at a time, and occasionally up to 8 hours as needed.
- Ability to work in high and cold temperature environments for extended hours.
- Maintain a hair‑free face when wearing a respirator.
Pay
- Hourly Rate: $25 – $34.
- Eligible for overtime.
