Job summary

FirstEnergy, headquartered in Akron, Ohio, is seeking a Program Manager – Reliability Execution to drive the coordination and tracking of reliability programs within the annual capital and O&M budgets. This role ensures work is completed on time, within budget, and aligned with reliability performance objectives, coordinating closely with Engineering, Operations, Work Management, and Finance.

This onsite position can be located at Williamsport Service Center in Maryland or Mon Power Headquarters

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associate degree with related utility distribution experience.
2 to 5 years of project management experience and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Strong analytical skills and KPI tracking capability.
Experience with SAP, GIS, and outage management systems preferred.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to work across departments.

Responsibilities

Leading coordination and tracking of reliability work tied to the annual budget.
Monitoring and reporting performance against reliability KPIs (SAIDI, SAIFI, CAIDI).
Developing and maintaining dashboards and reporting for leadership visibility.
Coordinating across Engineering, Work Management, and Operations teams.
Tracking budget performance and ensuring financial accountability.
Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Driving accountability for completion of assigned work.
Supporting forecasting and prioritization adjustments.
Coordinating design readiness and execution.
Preparing executive-level reporting and presentations.
Supporting regulatory reporting requirements and storm processes.
