FirstEnergy is seeking an on-site Engineer in Youngstown, OH to ensure reliability of the distribution system. You will analyze outages, develop strategic improvement plans, and prepare reports and budgets for distribution reliability projects, while coordinating with the Distribution Control Center and regulatory teams.
Qualified candidates have an ABET-accredited engineering degree (or equivalent), and relevant knowledge of NESC/NEC.

This open position is with FirstEnergy Service Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. The Engineer is accountable for the reliability and assessment of Pennsylvania’s distribution systems, performing analysis and recommending solutions to maintain a reliable electrical infrastructure that meets present and future needs.
The position is on‑site at the Youngstown Service Building in Youngstown, Ohio. Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to the Youngstown area for consideration.
