Job summary

Honda Development & Manufacturing of America in East Liberty, OH, is seeking a Reliability & Predictive Maintenance Specialist (PdM) on 2nd shift to deploy vibration, thermography, and oil analysis to maximize uptime and reduce breakdowns.

You will lead RCA, optimize Maximo CMMS maintenance tasks to improve MTBF/MTTR, and investigate early warning signals of degradation, driving asset condition improvements plant-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Technology, Robotics, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on machinery recovery, industrial maintenance, or predictive maintenance experience.
• Competency in predictive technologies (vibration analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound) and Maximo CMMS.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to work dedicated 2nd shift hours (with occasional flexibility).

Responsibilities

• Execute predictive maintenance (PdM) inspections utilizing vibration analysis, thermography, and condition monitoring.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and countermeasure tracking for 2nd shift equipment failures.
• Audit and optimize preventive maintenance tasks within Maximo CMMS to improve MTBF and MTTR metrics.
• Investigate early warning signals of machine degradation to prevent unexpected production stoppages.
• Benchmark and implement advanced asset condition management technologies across plant equipment.
