Job summary

Bel Brands in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Reliability Technologist to improve plant equipment performance and OEE. You will lead predictive maintenance programs, maintenance training, and assist with machine design improvements.

Required are 3–5 years in reliability in manufacturing, CMMS experience, and strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and safety teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• 3–5 years of reliability experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in food manufacturing and lean Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Improve operational performance and technical reliability.
• Lead and maintain continuous improvement project plans (capital and operational).
• Learn, implement, and teach problem-solving tools.
• Suggest improvement plans from daily production meetings.
• Mentor others in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and safety.
• Collaborate with Controls Engineers on programming needs.
• Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and PM/PdM strategies.
• Oversee transfer to production and ensure documentation compliance.
