Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Reliability Planning Analyst to support our team in a manufacturing, warehouse/distribution, and office environment. The role focuses on planning and coordinating labor, parts and materials, tools, permits, and documentation to maximize productivity and ensure safe, efficient work control plans.

Responsibilities include reviewing and prioritizing work orders, developing detailed job plans, performing root cause analyses, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of Facility Planning experience.
• Must be U.S. Citizen or able to work without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the principal liaison between the maintenance department and operation planning.
• Maximizes resources by identifying parts, materials, special tools, external services, rentals and documentation.
• Receives and reviews all planned work orders from the requesting departments.
• Reviews planned work orders to verify proper completion with all required information.
• Examines planned work orders and determines scope and best practices to accomplish work.
• Identifies work requiring engineering and design and reviews with proper entities.
• Escalates issues to the Reliability Manager for special tools or approvals.
• Develops full scope and extent of work including cost and time for maintenance activities.
• Prepares job plans for scheduling with parts, materials, and sequencing.
• Performs root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
• Initiates and implements best practices in planning/scheduling preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Analyzes unplanned work orders for corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensures maintenance personnel understand work instructions and close out work orders.
