Job summary

Bonnell Aluminum is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Planner Scheduler to plan and schedule non-emergency work orders across plant areas. You will collaborate with maintenance and operations to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance costs.

You’ll build detailed job plans, manage CMMS work orders, and coordinate with ERP systems. The role requires 5+ years in heavy manufacturing and a technical education; strong communication and a proactive, team-oriented

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Post-secondary education in administration, engineering, or a technical college diploma recommended.
• Maintenance-based experience in aluminum extrusion processes and asset reliability tech.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, fast learner, self-starter, able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel and work during shutdowns as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate proactive maintenance activities.
• Maximize equipment reliability using formal planning methods and coordinate downtime planning meetings.
• Build detailed job plans, manage work orders and CMMS backlog.
• Work within ERP/CMMS to monitor performance and train personnel.
• Support safety rules and housekeeping, and implement continuous improvement.
• Participate in major failure investigations.
• Assist with specification of obsolete parts and procurement for planned items.
• Manage special projects as assigned.
