Chemtrade is seeking an Industrial Plant Reliability Mechanic in Leeds, SC. You will own the mechanical reliability of production and utility assets in a chemical setting, upholding RMP/PSM, SOPs, and safety standards while performing precision repairs and proactive maintenance.

The role requires welding certification, 3+ years in industrial maintenance, and experience with pumps, gearboxes, motors, and piping systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical maintenance in an industrial/chemical setting (preferred).
• Welding, cutting, and burning certification required for equipment and piping repairs.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Welding, cutting, and burning for equipment repairs (certified).
• Repair/rebuild rotating equipment: pumps, gearboxes, motors.
• Install, modify, and maintain piping systems; perform tank openings and clean‑outs.
