Job summary

Clariant seeks a Maintenance Excellence Leader at our Louisville, KY facility to drive safe, reliable plant operations through better planning, scheduling, and execution. You will leverage CMMS data and continuous improvement to optimize outages, prevent failures, and align maintenance with business goals.

You will lead planning, ensure SAP data integrity, manage resources, and coach teams to sustain a preventive and predictive maintenance culture while supporting safe operations and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and outage management.
• 3+ years applying reliability-centered maintenance methodologies.
• Strong root cause analysis capability.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS platforms and continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance planning and scheduling to ensure compliant, timely maintenance aligned with plant priorities and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with local legal requirements and Clariant safety policies; manage risk and corrective actions.
• Own SAP data accuracy and documentation, including SAMACO material lists, work orders, and task plans.
• Ensure parts and labor resources are available ahead of execution to improve backlog health.
• Establish and enforce scheduling freeze periods to maximize plant uptime.
• Lead or support shutdown and outage planning and execution to minimize downtime.
• Apply reliability-centered maintenance to define effective repair strategies.
• Drive KPI tracking, PDCA cycles, gap analyses, and look-back reviews.
• Coach and train teams to sustain preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance culture.
