Job summary

Arkema Inc. is actively recruiting for a Maintenance Engineering II at the Houston site, reporting to Reliability Engineering and Project Manager.

You will interface with Arkema and contractor resources to support plant reliability and maintenance systems. You will serve as the site mechanical technical resource for repair strategies and drive reliability and maintenance work processes, collaborating with plant leadership, process engineers, and maintenance staff to improve asset utilization and

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5 years of chemical or industrial plant engineering/maintenance experience.
• Hands-on engineering with strong collaboration across teams.
• Proactive leadership to reliability programs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in plant safety processes and incident investigations.
• Provide technical support for plant projects including scope and equipment specs.
• Develop designs and specs for plant equipment and parts.
• Support rotating equipment program and maintenance planning.
• Drive plant reliability improvements and lead turnaround planning.
• Manage projects through AGATE lifecycle and budgets.
