ManpowerGroup is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Houston, TX to support plant operations with the Reliability and Maintenance teams. The role focuses on troubleshooting mechanical failures and driving reliability improvements.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3–7 years in chemical/plant maintenance, with experience in rotating equipment and SAP/CMMS. This on-site role offers collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in chemical or plant industry with maintenance and reliability focus.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, boilers and gas compressors.
• Proficiency with SAP or CMMS tools and reliability metrics.
• Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical maintenance engineering expertise to troubleshoot mechanical failures.
• Oversee equipment repairs and contribute to equipment strategy for rotating and fixed equipment.
• Collaborate with reliability group to drive improvements and support daily operations.
• Review mechanical design for operability, functionality, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Serve as SME during root cause investigations and provide technical support for repairs.
