Job summary

You will collaborate with Reliability Engineering, Project Management, operations, and contractors to develop repair strategies, perform design reviews, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance planning and execution.

Location: Houston, TX. This role requires hands-on leadership and strong communication to safeguard plant safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• At least 5 years of chemical or industrial plant engineering/maintenance experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Provides proactive leadership to the reliability program to improve plant uptime and asset utilization.
• Analyzes critical equipment failures, determines root causes, and implements corrective actions.
• Hands‑on ability and ability to interact in a team with hourly and professional personnel.

Responsibilities

• Safety and HESQ participation in plant safety processes and programs.
• Develops and validates project scopes from mechanical integrity assessments and equipment performance reviews.
• Plans and executes reliability improvement projects during normal operations or major turnarounds.
• Drives plant reliability improvement teams and supports continual development of plant reliability systems.
