Job summary

Volvo Trucks is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the Maintenance Engineering group. You will improve equipment reliability, develop maintenance programs for industrial equipment, and use CMMS and Power BI to analyze failures and trends.

You will work across maintenance, production, utilities, and facilities to reduce downtime and ensure maintainability of new equipment. The role emphasizes project management, CAPEX considerations, and aligning with Volvo Production System and

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
Associate degree with significant industrial maintenance experience with knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, and controls.
1 year of engineering experience with equipment design or upkeep; proficiency in CAD; MS Office 365; CMMS/ERP; fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

Update equipment drawings/documentation and recommend spare parts.
Collaborate with Stores to ensure parts availability and replacement of obsolete parts.
Analyze downtime and plan maintenance using CMMS, data, and KPI reporting.
Lead improvement projects to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Provide technical support for repairs and troubleshooting, including after-hours availability.
