Job summary

Godshall & Godshall Personnel Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Reliability Engineer to reduce downtime and drive long-term solutions across maintenance programs. You will lead PM initiatives, perform root cause analyses, and mentor technicians within a strong, safety-conscious team.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting of motors, VFDs, and instruments, with opportunities to influence standards, audits, and continuous improvement across plant operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years in a reliability engineering role.
  • Experience implementing PM programs.
  • Experience with root cause analysis for complex issues.

Responsibilities

  • Reduce equipment downtime and boost productivity through reliability projects.
  • Strengthen predictive and preventive maintenance best practices.
  • Troubleshoot motors, VFDs, valves, actuators, and field instrumentation systems.
  • Monitor and support plant control and automation system repairs.
  • Participate in RCAs and compare failures against performance standards.
  • Develop procedures, set expectations, audit work, and implement corrections.
  • Collaborate on audits, safety, 5S, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support electrical and control installations and related construction projects.
  • Provide technical help for complex electrical and instrumentation issues.
  • Ensure technicians have proper tools and materials.
