Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Reliability Engineer in East Chicago, IN to strengthen the Reliability Department and drive asset management excellence. You will analyze data, lead root cause analyses, and collaborate with operations to implement life-cycle improvements that maximize uptime.

Ideal candidates bring a mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering background, 5+ years in manufacturing reliability, and hands-on experience with industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance or reliability engineering in an industrial setting.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, chillers, and piping systems.
• Ability to read P&ID diagrams and machinery drawings with confidence.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with reliability and operations teams to identify and resolve long-term asset issues and reliability threats.
• Analyze data from various sources to justify life-cycle cost and reliability improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis for major failures to prevent recurrence.
• Support engineering, design, specification, and execution of reliability projects.
• Review and update Standard Maintenance and Operating Procedures.

• Ability to interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and machinery drawings confidently
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and technologies
