Phillips 66 is seeking a Manager, Reliability at the Sweeny Refinery in Texas. You will lead reliability-focused teams to improve asset performance, drive safe and cost-efficient outcomes, and align maintenance with site strategy.

You will coach engineers, manage risk, and use data and KPIs to strengthen asset health while fostering a strong safety culture across operations and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 6 years of relevant work experience in reliability, maintenance, or industrial operations.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Travel up to 5%, operate company vehicle on site, work extended hours, and handle physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability-focused teams and initiatives to improve asset performance and operational effectiveness.
• Coach and develop team members, provide direct feedback, and scale leadership practices.
• Oversee reliability performance, identify risks, and support safe, timely, and cost-effective outcomes.
• Promote a strong safety culture by monitoring performance, addressing gaps, and removing barriers.
• Use data and KPIs to improve equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Coordinate across operations, engineering, and other functions to align reliability priorities.
• Translate strategy into clear plans, anticipate risks, and keep teams informed during change.
• Develop reliability strategies and business cases to support investment decisions.
• Champion continuous improvement of reliability processes and workflows.
