Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Toledo is seeking an Assistant Reliability Manager to help lead the mill's reliability strategy and drive safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. You will partner with the Reliability Manager and mill leadership to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.

The role requires principled leadership, integrity, and a collaborative approach while guiding reliability engineers, vibration analysts, lubrication techs, and maintenance teams to deliver sustainable

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry reliability environments.
Proven ability to lead projects, coach teams, and influence cross-functional partners.
Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, asset strategies, and RCA.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute the site reliability strategy in safety- and cost-focused operations.
Provide technical leadership for reliability engineers, vibration analysts, and lubrication techs.
Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Planning to improve equipment reliability.
Develop preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies.
Lead root cause analyses and defect elimination efforts.
Publish reliability KPIs, asset health metrics, and program reports.
