Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Reliability Engineer to join our Toledo, OR team. The role focuses on reliability best practices across departments to improve safety, performance and mill reliability.

Responsibilities include collaborating with operators and asset managers, supporting maintenance with troubleshooting, cost estimation, and design solutions, and advancing RCFA/FMEA efforts to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Pulp & Paper) or equivalent.
• Experience with continuous manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety and environmental excellence through hazard identification, risk reduction and mitigation.
• Collaborate with operators, shift leaders and asset managers to improve reliability.
• Apply reliability best practices to improve equipment performance and solve issues.
• Provide reliability support to Maintenance and Operations (troubleshooting, cost estimation, design solutions).
• Support RCFA and FMEA efforts to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
