Industrial Scientific in Pittsburgh is seeking a highly skilled HQA Manager to lead hardware testing and validation across the product lifecycle. You will design detailed test plans, drive adherence to quality standards, and ensure testing processes meet regulatory requirements (UL, CSA, ATEX, IEC, MSHA) while translating complex data into actionable improvements.

Qualificações

• Minimum 7 years of hardware life cycle testing and validation.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems with lab equipment.
• Experience with thermal chambers, instrumentation and scopes.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute testing processes for component and system level specifications and requirements.
• Define and execute processes for testing to comply with agency approvals (UL, CSA, ATEX, IEC, MSHA, etc.).
• Lead team to troubleshoot new or legacy products with a data‑driven approach.
• Lead team to resolve complex product issues through detailed analysis, rapid experimentations, test planning, and novel idea generation.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to HQA technicians.
• Travel to customer locations to resolve issues and visit suppliers (<10%).
