Job summary

Koch Fertilizer in Enid, Oklahoma invites you to join our Reliability Engineer Intern Summer 2027 program. This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience supporting plant reliability, maintenance, and operational excellence while working with experienced engineers.

You will analyze equipment data, assist in predictive and preventive programs, and participate in root cause analysis to improve uptime. Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant degree and eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 4-year college, 2-year technical, certificate).
• Currently pursuing Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Eligible for full-time employment before or by May 2029.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support plant reliability, maintenance, and operational excellence projects.
• Analyze equipment and operational data to identify improvement opportunities and develop maintenance strategies.
• Contribute to predictive and preventive maintenance programs and spare parts strategies.
• Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting to improve uptime.
• Leverage data analytics and engineering tools to access documentation and improve efficiency.
• Review and interpret P&IDs, PFDs, piping isometrics, plot plans, and equipment specs.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to implement solutions.
