Job summary

Koch Fertilizer in Enid, Oklahoma offers a Reliability Engineer Intern Summer 2027 program, a 12-week internship from late May to mid-August 2027. You will work on real reliability and maintenance projects, analyze equipment data, and support predictive maintenance initiatives.

Eligible students enrolled in Mechanical or related fields will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with operations and engineering teams, and develop strategies to improve plant reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment, engines, rotating equipment, or maintenance systems.
Demonstrated involvement in engineering design teams, student organizations, or hands-on mechanical projects.

Responsibilities

Take on projects that mirror full-time engineers’ work, gaining hands-on experience in reliability, maintenance, and operational excellence.
Analyze equipment and data to identify improvement opportunities and develop reliability strategies.
Support preventive maintenance programs by evaluating performance, inspection requirements, and spare parts strategies.
Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting to improve plant reliability.
Leverage engineering tools, data analytics, AI, and technology to improve efficiency and access to technical docs.
Review P&IDs, PFDs, isometrics, plot plans, and equipment specs.
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to develop solutions for better equipment performance.
