Job summary

Arrow International is seeking a hands-on Maintenance and Reliability leader to stabilize daily operations and build robust prevention programs. You’ll lead OEE improvement on assigned lines, drive SMED changeovers, and mentor technicians on the shop floor.

You’ll combine deep mechanical and electrical expertise with DMAIC/Kaizen project leadership to deliver measurable reliability gains while staying close to equipment and teams on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing settings, including 3+ years leading teams.
• Demonstrated ability to craft a vision and roadmaps, execute with measurable outcomes.
• Hands-on leader with strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission skills.
• Experience building or overhauling preventive maintenance programs and managing spares inventory.
• Root cause analysis and structured problem-solving discipline.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of OSHA, LOTO, and general industrial safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own OEE data collection, analysis, and the improvement roadmap for assigned lines.
• Drive changeover reduction via SMED on high-mix lines (bingo/pull-tab).
• Lead DMAIC/Kaizen projects across print, die cutting, collation, finishing centers.
• Develop and document process standards, work instructions, and control plans.
• Identify automation opportunities based on labor intensity, error rates, and volume.
• Partner with colleagues on controls integration to enable process improvements.
• Support configure-to-order process design for variable data and short-run workflows.

By mid-morning, you’re mapping an OEE improvement plan for the lines you own. In the afternoon, you’re coaching techs through a SMED trial on a high-mix bingo line and finalizing a control plan to keep yesterday’s issue from coming back.
