Description

Join the Fun at Arrow International! Arrow International is the world’s #1 maker of charitable gaming products, from pull tabs and bingo paper to cutting-edge electronic gaming systems. Our products power entertainment in social and gaming venues around the globe, and we’re growing fast!

We’re building a winning culture that’s all about teamwork, passion, and innovation. At Arrow, you’re not just another employee, you’re part of a high-performing team that’s redefining fun and giving back to communities. We believe in rewarding your hard work with profit-sharing, 401(k) matching, great benefits, and paid time off, including a bonus week every July!

If you’re looking for a career that’s exciting, meaningful, and full of opportunity, Arrow is the place to be.Arrow International is seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Manager. This is a player-coach role for an experienced, hands-on technical leader who works alongside the maintenance team on the shop floor when needed while primarily owning the strategy, structure, and development of the reliability engineering and maintenance function.

This is not a desk job. It is a high-visibility, high-impact leadership role. Arrow International needs someone who can roll up their sleeves and troubleshoot a press, rebuild a gearbox, or diagnose a robotic line, while also building the reliability engineering function by designing the systems, instilling the habits, and building the capabilities that keep the team from fighting the same fires repeatedly.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead structured improvement projects using DMAIC / Kaizen on print, die cutting, collating, and finishing work centers.
  • Own OEE data collection, analysis, and improvement roadmap for assigned lines.
  • Drive changeover reduction using SMED methodology across high-mix SKU families on bingo and pull-tab lines.
  • Develop and document process standards, work instructions, and control plans.
  • Identify automation candidates based on labor intensity, error rate, and volume.
  • Partner with Tom W. on controls integration for process improvements.
  • Support configure-to-order process design for variable data and short-run workflows.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role, and a strong preference for candidates who have continued working hands-on throughout their career.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a vision and roadmap and successfully implement the roadmap and deliver measurable results.
  • Strong hands-on background in industrial mechanics, including hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical power transmission, and precision alignment.
  • Solid electrical knowledge, including 480V three-phase systems, motor controls, PLCs, and control panel troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience building or leading a preventive maintenance program from the ground up or significantly restructuring one.
  • Experience managing spare parts inventory and establishing or improving storeroom processes.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop maintenance technicians of varying skill levels through direct, floor-level engagement, not just classroom instruction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience applying root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Proficiency with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, LOTO procedures, and general industrial safety requirements.
