Job summary

Appvion seeks a Reliability Engineer to improve equipment performance and reliability in Appleton manufacturing operations. This hands-on role partners with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, craftspeople, and machine operators to identify reliability opportunities, lead improvement initiatives, and support preventative and predictive maintenance programs.

The position requires a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years in reliability/maintenance engineering, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of reliability/maintenance engineering experience.
• Strong preventive and predictive maintenance knowledge.
• TPM and Lean training preferred.
• Excellent analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliability solutions to improve equipment effectiveness.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and TPM-based maintenance activities.
• Plan, schedule, and support maintenance and reliability work.
• Provide engineering leadership for continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
• Translate quality metrics into design and equipment improvements.
• Track equipment performance and prioritize reliability focus areas.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage capital/expense projects.
