Job summary

3M in Tonawanda, NY is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead predictive and preventive maintenance improvements across our assets. The role focuses on reliability-based strategies, failure analysis, and equipment optimization.

Qualifications include a science or engineering degree and 6+ years in related fields, with certifications and experience in RCM/TPM being a plus. Relocation assistance may be provided and up to 10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science or Engineering discipline, completed before start.
• Six (6) combined years of experience in maintenance, engineering, manufacturing and/or plant engineering in various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Outline a comprehensive analytical approach to predict, prevent, eliminate or reduce equipment failures.
• Design and implement reliability improvement standards and training.
• Perform failure mode and effect analysis to ensure PM and PdM programs.
• Apply Reliability Based Maintenance programs (RCM/TPM).
• Assess and develop crafts capability in reliability improvement.
• Analyze data using reliability tools to develop improvement plans.
• Lead reliability improvement teams as SME.
• Manage and report KPIs for reliability programs.
