Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Reliability Engineer (Product Testing) to lead validation and reliability testing for cable backplane assemblies used in AI and hyperscale data centers. The role will define scalable test-system architectures, develop test methods and fixtures, and implement automated solutions to improve launch readiness.

The position is based in Etters, PA or Raleigh, NC, with travel up to ~20%.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, reliability, manufacturing, or systems engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in product testing, validation, reliability engineering, or test-system development.
• Experience architecting test systems, fixtures, and data acquisition.
• Hands-on with lab equipment and environmental testing.
• Ability to travel ~20% to sites and suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute reliability and validation strategies across product life cycle.
• Define modular test-system architectures, hardware, fixtures, sensors, and software interfaces.
• Design and validate test fixtures and automated setups for lab and production use.
• Conduct electrical, mechanical, thermal, vibration, and environmental tests.
• Apply DOE/MSA and statistical methods to ensure test-system capability and repeatability.
• Troubleshoot test systems and perform root-cause analysis.
• Document architectures, procedures, results, risks, and recommended actions.
