Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC in Denton, TX is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead improvements across the plant. You will analyze equipment history, perform root-cause analyses, and drive reliability through preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance strategies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support CMMS/SAP PM, mentor maintenance staff, and contribute to ongoing equipment design, lubrication programs, and autonomous maintenance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Licenses/Certificates: CMRP or equivalent certification.
• 7 years in industrial maintenance or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead RCA efforts to prevent equipment failures.
• Monitor MTTR and MTBF to identify improvements.
• Review defects from PM/PdM for PM optimization.
• Participate in new equipment design and installations.
• Assist spare parts reviews and mitigate obsolescence.
• Promote preventive/predictive maintenance via CMMS.
• Develop lubrication program and monitor performance.
• Provide training to operations team.
• Support autonomous maintenance activities.
• Ensure SAP PM CMMS training and system integrity.
• Comply with policies and manage staff development.
