Job summary

KeyStaff Professionals- A Division of Midwest Staffing seeks a Reliability Engineer to join our client’s team in Minnesota. This direct-hire role focuses on maintaining safe, reliable and efficient manufacturing operations, serving as the key technical resource for plant operations and maintenance.

You will troubleshoot equipment, lead RCA investigations, and drive continuous improvement across reliability, efficiency and equipment management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
3+ years of experience in plant reliability or maintenance engineering
Experience in chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or heavy industrial manufacturing
Strong understanding of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, motors, piping systems, and process instrumentation
Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
Experience with reliability tools and methodologies such as RCA, FMEA, RCM
Knowledge of OSHA PSM requirements and industrial safety standards

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot equipment and processes to minimize downtime
Lead root cause investigations for failures and operational issues
Work closely with operations, maintenance and other teams to improve plant performance and equipment management
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to reliability, efficiency and operations performance
Monitor equipment performance and recommend actions to improve plant reliability
