Job summary

Centrus Energy, located in Piketon, OH, seeks a Reliability Engineer to improve plant equipment reliability and maintenance strategies. You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to analyze failures, perform RCFA, and develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Requirements include 5+ years in regulated industrial environments, RCFA experience, and a Q clearance. Base salary range starts around $78,581 to $109,000 and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of engineering, maintenance, reliability, or industrial operations experience.
• 2+ years in nuclear, high-hazard, or highly regulated environment.
• RCFA and corrective actions experience.
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive and reliability-centered maintenance.
• Experience interpreting equipment performance data and identifying improvements.
• Familiarity with rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, motors, valves and process systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability, availability, and performance of plant equipment by analyzing failures and implementing solutions.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Project teams to perform RCFA and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Monitor equipment health and evaluate new technologies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for safety, operational excellence, and overall plant performance.
