Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to design, analyze, and improve electrical infrastructure for its nuclear fuel manufacturing operations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable plant operations and regulatory compliance. The role involves developing power distribution, instrumentation, and controls, performing calculations and specifications, and advancing capital projects in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
• 3+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering within an industrial, manufacturing, utility, energy, chemical, or similar environment
• Experience designing, analyzing, or supporting industrial electrical power systems
• Experience using ETAP software to perform system wide arc-flash, protection coordination and fault analysis studies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support electrical power distribution systems, instrumentation, controls, and facility infrastructure to enable safe and reliable plant operations
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, project teams, and other engineering disciplines to troubleshoot equipment, lead design improvements, and prepare engineering calculations and specifications
• Support capital projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the facility
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and design documentation
