Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead engineering development, analysis, and execution of facility modifications at the Piketon, Ohio site.

You will ensure structural steel, concrete, foundations, and equipment supports meet safety and regulatory standards from design through turnover. Qualifications include a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited) and 5+ years of structural design and field support experience, with knowledge of AISC/ACI

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in structural design, analysis, and field support.
• Familiarity with AISC, ACI, and seismic/building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural design and analysis for site modifications, including wind, seismic, vibration, and thermal effects.
• Develop, review, and redline design packages for foundations, structural steel, and equipment anchorage.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams to integrate loads and layouts.
• Support field construction through walkdowns, RFIs, and as-built updates.
• Prepare procurement packages for subcontracted fabrication and installation.
