Job summary

Coeur Mining, Inc. seeks a Reliability Engineer for the Rochester Mine in Lovelock, Nevada. This mid- to senior-level role expands maintenance strategies to improve safety, reliability, and lifecycle costs of mobile mining equipment and infrastructure.

The successful candidate will lead root-cause investigations, develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans, and guide planners, supervisors, and technicians in reliability best practices, with hands-on field support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
5+ years of demonstrated experience in mine equipment maintenance or a comparable heavy industrial environment.
Experience with Reliability tools (UT, Thermography, CBM, Oil analysis interpretation).
Ability to analyze work order history, downtime, maintenance costs, and equipment performance data.
Experience with Excel, Cat SIS, and oil analysis interpretation.

Responsibilities

Monitor health and performance of mobile mining equipment and fixed assets.
Lead root cause analyses for significant failures and safety-related defects.
Develop preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies.
Support condition-monitoring technologies (vibration, thermography, oil analysis).
Coach and train technicians and operators in reliability best practices.
Ensure efficient and reliable operations while protecting asset life.
