Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Reliability Engineer to drive continuous equipment and utilities reliability improvements, lead the Maintenance Excellence Program (MEP), and collaborate with Facilities, Engineering and Maintenance Planner to enhance asset performance and operational efficiency at the site.

Responsibilities

• Lead BLI Maintenance Excellence Program (MEP) and train personnel on reliability processes
• Guide reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls and safety systems
• Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and prevent recurrence
• Analyze failure history to determine reliability characteristics and develop long-term solutions
• Develop and enforce Asset Operations Plan and Asset Maintenance Plan for optimal asset utilization
• Adhere to Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) across asset life cycles
• Conduct root cause failure analyses (RCFA) and assess asset performance metrics (OEE, MTBF)
• Provide reliability specifications for new/modified installations; participate in design, testing and commissioning
• Apply AbbVie MEP best practices for predictive maintenance and telemetry technologies
• Influence capital planning and long-range planning for equipment and facilities
