Job summary

Accuray Incorporated is seeking a Reliability Systems Engineer for our Product Development team. You will establish reliability strategies across products, guide subsystem owners, and use tools like FMEA, Weibull analysis, and DOE to meet customer and business reliability objectives.

You will mentor engineers, work with cross-functional teams, and influence reliability processes throughout the development lifecycle to ensure products perform in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics with at least 5 years in design or reliability.
• Experience with reliability analysis software and statistical methods.
• Hands-on with electronic test equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Develop user and system reliability requirements and allocate to subsystems and components.
• Translate objectives into system/project reliability plans and guides for owners.
• Identify risks using FMEAs, reliability prediction, and modeling to mitigate issues.
• Provide guidance on test strategies including HALT/step-stress testing and reliability demonstration.
• Track progress to reliability objectives and coordinate with service, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Mentor engineers in reliability tools and cross-functional process improvements.
