Job summary
Northrop Grumman in Chandler, Arizona is seeking a reliability-focused engineer to develop, coordinate and conduct reliability analyses for hardware and software using MIL-HDBK-217F and IEEE STD 1633-2016, with Windchill Risk & Reliability.
You will lead FMEA/FMECA/FTA work, support BIT evaluation, analyze nonconformance data, and coordinate with multiple engineering teams to meet government and customer reliability objectives. Active Secret clearance and US citizenship required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
- 2 years of reliability experience, including FMEA/FMECA/FTA analyses.
- Ability to present results to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Develop reliability analyses for hardware and software using MIL-HDBK-217F and IEEE 1633-2016.
- Conduct FMEA/FMECA/FTA analyses for launch vehicle hardware.
- Perform Fault Tree Analysis using Windchill Risk & Reliability.
- Support evaluation of BIT hardware/software to maximize test coverage.
- Coordinate with various engineering teams to plan reliability activities.
- Analyze customer requirements and manage cost/schedule for reliability programs.
