• Experience with reliability fail modes and fail mechanisms with respect to reliability.
• Very good understanding of relevant test standards.
• Ability to apply engineering knowledge to improve products and processes.
• Ability to solve complex engineering problems.
• Statistical analysis knowledge to assess reliability risk.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross functional teams to achieve high product performance and reliability standards.
• Evaluate equipment failure modes and develop solutions for eliminating/mitigating potential failure.
• Advise and confer with engineers in design review meetings with reliability findings and recommendations.
• Review specifications and drawings and propose design modifications to improve reliability within cost and performance constraints.
• Monitor equipment performance and analyze failure trends to identify sources of poor component performance.
• Collaborate with other locations to develop reliability best practices.
