RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Reliability Engineer II to join the Lifecycle Engineering team on site. You will support reliability strategy across development, production, and sustainment, working with a multidisciplinary engineering group.

Responsibilities include reviews of system design for reliability, maintainability, and failure reporting, plus FMECA, predictions, and derating and FRACAS processes. A STEM degree with 2+ years of experience is required, plus the ability to obtain Interim

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience in Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Predictions, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Derating, Failure reporting, analysis and/or corrective actions system (FRACAS).
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsabilités

• Support the implementation of reliability strategy across multiple product phases including development, production and sustainment.
• Support an engineering team consisting of varying levels of experience and engineering sub-disciplines.
• Conduct analysis efforts supporting system design with respect to product Reliability, Maintainability, and Failure Reporting and Corrective Action.
• Work in reliability disciplines including FMECA, Predictions and Derating.
• Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards.
