Job summary
Raytheon in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Systems Reliability Engineer 1 to focus on reliability and failure investigations for radar hardware/software projects. This onsite role supports Life Cycle Engineering and collaborates across engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
Responsibilities include data analysis, root-cause investigations, and implementing corrective actions to improve product reliability. Candidates should have a STEM degree and be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with reliability and failure investigation activities like FRACAS is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze failure data to identify trends and root causes.
- Lead or support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to resolve issues.
- Ensure timely closure of failure reports and documentation of findings.
- Monitor reliability metrics and report to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement to enhance product reliability and performance.
