Job summary

DuPont in Hemlock, Michigan seeks an experienced Reliability Engineer for the Healthcare Industries Materials Site (HIMS). You will lead reliability strategy, collaborate with operations and maintenance, and provide technical oversight for asset productivity across process equipment.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, equipment performance improvements, and supporting capital projects with a strong focus on safety and cross-functional teamwork. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Engineering; advanced degrees encouraged.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Ability to communicate across functions to improve plant performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliability support for HIMS plant operations and utilities; lead root cause analyses for equipment reliability issues.
• Support production turnarounds and shutdowns with input on inspection and repair procedures.
• Perform improvement audits; identify gaps and define business value for improvements.
• Lead capital replacement and improvement projects; specify equipment criteria and support installation.
• Develop asset plans using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and other reliability methods.
